    T56 clearance in 1968 Mustang

Can I ask why the T56 and not a T5? The T56 is physically larger and just about twice as heavy. How much motor is in front of it?

    The First Mustang Project

The radiator could not be 1/4" taller or wider. I drilled new holes through the rad support to mount it. I couldn't use the stock locations to mount additional brackets as it would have pushed the radiator back to close to the water pump to fit a 16 fan. The shifter is a Tri-Ax. I have...

    The First Mustang Project

I inhaled most of it, some landed on the floor, the rest is stuck to the sides of washing machine. She's going into the booth in a couple of weeks for gunmetal paint with a single black stripe with 1 small strip on each side. Any suggestions on the grill material? I wasnt in...

    The First Mustang Project

Ok, FAST forward a bit. I've been slacking on the updates. I completed all the body work this week while on vacation. This includes: Both rear quarter lower sections, both door skin's, new front fenders, custom side scoops, custom extended headlight buckets and a fabricated lower grill panel...

I went to get an estimate today...

Dont sweat the welding, with the money your saving you could go out an buy a small Lincoln 140 mig running on 110v for $500 and still be WAY ahead. Then you can rent it out :). This is a pretty good place to start your welding skills as its not crutial, not structural and if their not pretty...

    LED Headlights?

I just did a 6000k HID swap and I love them. I have 4 cars and one motorcyle, each of them with HID and I wont ever go back. When setup properly, glare is a NON ISSUE. When a 16 year old kid tosses them into a $20 set of projector beam headlights in their Civic I make no promises.

Battery in the trunk, need cable routing ideas.

I dont care where you run it (I would however run it inside along the sill) but I would ensure I had a resettable 300amp breaker in the trunk. These run about 30bucks and every car I have done a remote battery on has had one. Its the only SAFE way to run a battery cable to a front mounted...

    Anyone try this yet???

I'm building a restomod and want a very different nose. Has anyone tried fabbing a 08' grill into a 67'? Looking at the 08 with fog's. I will be doing some serious molding on the headlight buckets to smooth out the lines of the nose anyway. I would sit this grill in without using the original...

new brake lines dual master cylinder

To be honest, I use different sized aerosol cans with better sucess then any tube bender I've bought and I've bought a few. You can make cleaner bends around a can with a 5" section of tubing to sleeve over the end for tight bends near the end of the tubing where you dont have much...

    T5 Question

Yea the speedo is electronic but its easily swapped out. Mustangs unlimited sells a conversion cable for short $$. Remove the sender, bolt in the cable end.

    Start switch issue

Anyone know where that under dash NS switch loop should be? I disconnected just about everything so theres a chance I disconected it without knowing what it was. Just knowing the wiring color would be a huge help. Also, I tested the selonoid, I can crank it from under the dash by applying...

67 Stang + big block radiator + 5.0 serpentine water pump

Same issue here...thinking about just going with one of those chrome metal kits. I have them on my show truck with a custom rad. You just bend them into whatever shap you need them. Does anyone know if the 1970s hose goes over and is long enough to reach radiators with drivers side inlets?

    Start switch issue

After a total rebuild I'm trying to test the electrical an have an issue. Everything BUT the actual start position works. Accy and run positions work fine but no juice to the starter relay. I tested it at the drivers side connection and I'm not getting 12V there so I know its between there and...
