    Does ANYONE sell colored bumper inserts for 96-98 Cobras anymore??

    I bought my red rear inserts about a year ago. I want to change them for white, but NOBODY is selling. On ebay, stangnet partshopper, and across the web its only stainless steel. What happened? Anyone know where I can get some colored vinyl decals? :shrug:

    Well he admitted he was shifting at 5800rpm. That will KILL his ET and MPH. I bet he could squeeze another 4mph out of it by redlining it and nailing every shift.

    The 05 GT makes around 100rwhp less stock than an 03/04 Cobra, and weighs about the same...nuff said.

    It's just a light, it has no other impact whatsoever. It is not tied into the engine, performance, how your computer runs, etc. in any fashion.

    Which exhaust is raspy sounding

    X-pipe and any catback. My upr o/r X and bassani street comp catback has a snarley, racey, edgy sound with a high pitched "racey" rasp edge sound at certain times....it sounds soo bad@ss..... But, as long as you get an X-pipe you'll get some form of metallic rasp at one point or another.

    WOW dude, those shift points are WAY off! I admit that it feels like power falls flat after 6200rpm, but I got my best trap speed by redlining every gear. Next time, bring her to 6800rpm on every shift, I can almost gaurentee your trap will shoot up ~2-4mph.

    Why do Cobras sound the way they do?

    That Cobra sounds like @ss in my opinion. My 97 Cobra with offroad upr x-pipe and bassani street comp catback sounds 10 times better under acceleration. Flows also sound good on Cobras. The Cobras are higher pitched and more echo'ey than GT's. The biggest difference in sound, IMO, is past 4k...
