I'll be there Thurs @ the racetrack and Fri @ the Expo. :nice:
Screw Sat and Sun... freakin crowded mess. :nonono:
Ebay did screw up the swapmeets at first but since the shippers (UPS, USPS, Fed-Ex, etc) jumped on the gouging badwagon a few years ago, E-bay has dwindled down to squat, and I...
Ever driven a street car with solid mounts? Rattles your teeth man...
Waitin to get the tax return back then i want to get a repair kit, got a spare set that are in dire need of repair...
Yeah you should be ok. If you car is currently an auto trans, you;ll need to locate a MII V8 Flywheel aswell. These may be difficult to get but for some reason I recall someone re-producing them.... somewhere. Then just run the MII clutch kit, a 10" unit, still available new over the...
Well... what I think they mean is that most carpets out there are for the Coupes and do not have the extra material required for the Fastback cars to cover the rear cargo area. Some places advertise that 'rear' piece a seperate item you need to purchase along with the regular set.
I have yet...
I've got air shocks on my Fastback too. Definately not factory, but keeps that ass-end up off the rear bumper... :nice:
Snap a pic of those headers. I'd like to see them. Might have to wait until (if you do) pull the engine to get a good shot. I picked up a couple sets many moons ago and...
-Search Craigslist http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/ks for your area. Just choose a large city near (or in) where you live. Always seem to have good luck here in the Portland, OR/Vancouver area.
-The SN classifieds might have a few hits for ya.
-As mean78 said, local classifieds/nickle...
Only dumb question is one that isn't asked....
Rumor has it that the Headman headers, with slight massaging, will fit around the T-5 bellhousing. I believe someone here on the boards has done it. I've installed a couple sets of headmans and noticed that there is alot more clearance around the...
Because it's FORD. :D I dunno, design changes, tint, different manufacture, etc...
Not doubting you, just always thought they were the same. SEE... learn somethin' new every day!!!:nice:
BTW- Where is the p/n located on the glass?
Well...from the jist of it... If you're a header person, you'll prolly want to stick with the II bellhousing. If Headers are not an issue, simplicity may dictate using the T-5 bell, and building a new crossmember for the strut rod mounts.
I have not actually done one yet. But have gathered...
If they are truely a set of unmodified Headman headers... your #1 tube shouldn't be anywhere near the motor mount. The #1 tube would be that piece of crap that passes under the main crossmember, on the Headmans anyways.
You got a way of posting a pic so we can see whatcha got going??
Check these out! Really cool covers for the V6s that cam in the IIs. I wish there was more of them available here stateside.

Finally got this vid up to share with you all. Thanks goes to Mad Mark for helping me out with it. It was shot in '99 on a VHS-C camcorder and when i converted it to a format that the computer could use, the picture quality took a major dive. The sound, however, is pretty good. The camera work...
Man... I'd almost swear that the glass and trim are all the same 74-78 Copue and Fastback. But that's possible. I don't have a coupe to compare to. Now i do know that not all window regulators are created equal, difference being how long the shaft is; the inside handle connects to.
IIRC isn't the Driver's stand relocated back an 1" or so and the passenger stand is closer to the frame (doesn't extend out as far) on the V8 stands.
Hey! It's that other crazy tunnel ram guy! Glad to hear you're still alive and now a happy homeowner.
Hey- here's a secret that only shop owners know.... that shop of yours... however big it is, will be too small in 1 year. LOL Just look at my list of crap...:nonono:
Anyways, congrats on...
Ok-

I suppose it possible that it could be an option of...
You may be $$$$$ ahead if you can get your hands on a V8 parts car. Buying all the stuff individually that you'd need can easily nickle and dime you to death.
Had one set (drivers side only) on the '77 CBII I had in Albuquerque.
Seems to me that the seat sat a little higher than the typical II seat even with the height adjusted all the way down. The frequent beatings to the cranium gettin in and out of that car...... I just didn't like 'em.
I...
