    Will a 4.6 4v fit?

    Looking for a project. Something of a restmod. My question is: Will a 4v 4.6 fit in a 65-68 stang? I heard of a TKO t-56 fitting in the tunnel of those years but what of the 4.6 4v engine? Any insights is greatly appreciated.

    comp 270 issues

    You need to degree heads with cams installed. As for valve clearance, I recommended a new set of springs. The comp 270 are lifted at .550 for both exhaust and intake valves. That's pushing it on a set of stock P.I. Heads. Especially if their used already, then wear and tear might be a heavier...
