    Went back to my friend's house last weekend (that I bought the car from a year ago) and picked up his extra set of wheels/tires. The only problem I have now are the tires he had on it. Kumho V700 R-comps aren't really meant for normal driving. They're like sand/dirt/pebble vacuums...

    My friend (previous owner) said his best was 4mpg during a track day at Beaver Run (PA). It's something I aspire to. I want to get single digit mileage someday. I suppose a 2 mi road course is the way to do it. :) Welcome to beaverun motorsports complex

    I've only checked mine twice. Once on the way back when I bought it (highway), and the next tank terrorizing my town. Highway: 21 Town: 11 Haven't bothered checking since. It's not why I bought it. ;) I'd say, on average, I get anywhere from 160-180 miles to a tank.

    Seconding the 18". 18x9 in front with 265/35 on them (or 275) 18x10 with 285/35 or 295/35 in back. That's just my opinion of course.

    advantage of offroad h?

    I've got Borlas on mine (at least that's what I've been told Saleen put on them that year). The 2000rpm drone isn't bad for me. At least, nothing a little bump of the volume knob couldn't fix (that is, if I listened to the stereo).

    Thanks. The previous owner (my friend) took meticulous care of it, as do I. I took the pictures outside my old high school (haven't been there in 20 years). Thought about doing a nastalgic donut on the way out, but didn't want to shave $40 worth of rubber off the back tires. :)
