    It depends on the year. Even years it's top up and odd years it's top down except for '91 models manufacturered prior to August they are top up. Good luck.

    Seems to me that top shrinkage is the most likely cause. It is alot easier when it's been out in the sun. Is there any sort of treatment that can loosen the vinyl back to it's original flexible state ?

    is this hard on new engine

    I think for break in you are suppossed to go up and down the rev range, but keep it safe like below 5000 rpm. Running a constant low rev will not break it in properly.

    Thanks guys I got it now. NEXT PROBLEM: I got the ac delete / mac ud pulley kit.. and how the heck do you tighten the crank ud pulley bolts, there is no clearance for a socket or an open wrench!! (i'm guessing theres some sort of thin thin socket you can buy ??)

    I'm in the middle of doing my ac delete kit from latemodel resto, and the bracket doesn't come with instructions and I can't figure this thing out!! Can someone fill me in ?? Do you retain the original bracket in addition to the new one ?? Pics ???! Thanks

    From what I've researched, spending money on a larger throttle body unless you are using forced induction is almost a complete waste of money.

    Can my setup handle any nitrous??

    I hate to steal the thread, but really don't think this question is worthy of a new one... can nitrous be safely run on a completely stock setup ? Like a small shot, without having to upgrade the fuel pump etc ?

    I passed emissions for years easily without a smog pump. Just have it hot, pull the spout and it's fine.
