    MSD Distributor Install Problems

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all their suggestions. After putting in the 1/4" socket and rotating the shaft, I dropped the MSD Distributor in and put a few turns on the crank and it dropped right in. I will post pictures when I have the wiring all straightened out, but my friend...

    A Solution for Resto-Modders

I can appreciate both the purists views as well as the restomod way. I would only keep a car all original if it was rare. But since i'm not a collector, I believe in restomodding so long as it is done with taste.

SN95 caliper brackets for Granada spindle

I have a set of 99-04 GT brakes that I am wanting to install on my 67 coupe. Does this bracket require any machine work to the Granada spindles, similar to the brackets that were once offered by Daze Cars? If you needed any more volunteers, I am more than willing to try them out on my car. My 67...

    4 Wheel Disc Brake Install

If you were in L.A. I would consider helping you out. It is really not that hard and would take no more than a weekend. Your average garage with a 100pc or so craftsman tool set would be able to do it. I don't see the install being more than 500-750 depending on the shop. Call around and get the...

    MSD Distributor Install Problems

Just to start off, My mechanical skills are in my opinion average. I've done some major installs (superchargers, engine swaps and rebuilds, rear end swaps, tranny swaps, etc...) but have not done everything there is to do yet. Well, I tried installing my MSD Pro Billet Distributor a few days ago...

    pics of a project basketcase

What backspacing did you use on the wheels and what tires/size did you go with? Any modification to make it fit without rubbing?

Would these Rims work on my 01GT?

So long as those tires have some life in them, they are a good deal. They wont look the best on a new edge mustang, but will do fine as spare wheels for winter times. You can find 99-00 GT rims for around $200 without tires. You may want to consider hunting a set of those down if the looks will...

Would these Rims work on my 01GT?

I believe those rims are 16". If thats the case, they might even clear the bigger cobra brakes. But so long as your 01 Gt have stock brakes, you should have no problem running them as Mossberg stated.

Hey rainman, How did you get it in? I am having the exact same problem as I am trying to install an MSD distributor in my car right now.

    Making billet T-5 shifters...need opinions

This is a great alternative to some of the other shifter handles out there. I was strongly considering the STE one until I ran into this thread. Do you have any pics of the black anodized handle? Or did I miss that in the thread? Also, excuse my ignorance, but what center console is that and...

C4 (with tranny cooler) and for sale

Sounds like it is just what I need. Any idea if it will bolt right up to a 68 289? I would guess that it would. $275 for the tranny, flexplate and other essentials, how much for the gear selector and additional stuff? I already have most of that, but wouldnt mind some better looking stuff as my...

    68 Coupe Just Finished

That is one clean coupe. Definitely gives me something to aspire to. I think completely de-badged and no rocker panels are the way to go, but i do agree with the fact that the rocker molding would tie in the lips from the rims and bumpers. A tough call, I would personally go without since it is...

SoCal group drives/cruises: Who would be up for canyon cruising?

If we are cruising at legal speeds and not making obnoxious noise, would there be any reason for anyone to bug us on a small cruise through the canyons?

SoCal group drives/cruises: Who would be up for canyon cruising?

Randy (Mystify) got his cobra back up and running a while back. He was at our last cruise in September of last year. When you are back up and running, let us know. I would consider a canyon cruise at decent speeds (damn drum brakes) as long as the road is dry. -Edgar

SoCal group drives/cruises: Who would be up for canyon cruising?

Me and my buddies occasionally cruise through there, unfortunately my 67 coupe isnt canyon ready just yet. We usually go in out New Edge Mustangs, My 01GT, their 01 & 03 Cobras. We actually did a cruise through their with about 100 cars, you can check the video out here...
