    bent valves and broken cam followers.... its not fun. i really dont have it all ironed out yet i was just trying to warn the op because i thought i had mine set up right and it blew up in my face. so if im reading right the marks will never line up again or every 8 turns? I still need more...

    i set mine up like this and now i have broken cam followers and bent valves.... :mad: to the op do not try to crank the motor untill the color links match up every 2 rotations of the crank.... make sure you turn the crank plenty of times to make sure it stays lined up.... let us know how...

    it does seem like y ou have to spend a lot of money to get n/a power though. even with these new heads its going to cost around 3k to do heads/cams/tune to see what maybe 330 rwhp? i guess dyno numbers will tell but it seems like a lot. im buying new heads regardless because mine are fubar

    Anyone have lowering springs w/out C/C plates?

    i have had eibach sportlines on for close to 30k with zero problems... tires are wearing as they should. maybe my car is a freak? for most of that time the stock shocks and struts were still on.

    the headmans look pretty good, but if this thing takes me long enough ill probably give the edelbrocks a try

    wow thanks for pointing that out, but the bbk's are only 30$ cheaper than the edelbrocks. ive heard a few people on here say that the flow tech's arent bad. what about hedman?pypes?
