    First Time Storage Questions? Help

It's not just the cold but the snow, ice and the salt on the roads throughout the winter. I took it out in the snow once just for $hits and giggles and will never do that again. It sat stuck 1 block down the road for a week. I've got a beater truck I drive to work all year round anyway so no...

    First Time Storage Questions? Help

That's pretty much what I do. Change the oil, top off fuel tank and tire pressure, wash, wax, disconnect battery and cover.

    Mil Elims HELP

First don't swap o2 sensors front to back. They are different. The front 2 are heated o2 sensors. They monitor air and fuel ratio. The rears are for catalyst monitoring purposes only. Post the codes up on hear that you pulled. O2 sensor DTC's are specific to location and the problem...

    Tire pressure

Most people lower their rear tire pressure to 25-28 PSI at the track. On the street I run 28-30 out back and 34 up front.

    Gauges on the A pilar

Summit Racing sells them fairly cheap. Like $25-30 each. Don't waste your money on the Air/Fuel Ratio gauge. They aren't accurate.

    Rear Control Arm Installs

:stupid: It's not hard at all to do it yourself. If you have some jack stands, jack, some sockets and a torque wrench it's a piece of cake. Upgrade your shocks, struts and springs while its apart.

    Whats the next step?

Seeing you already have a programmer you probably don't need the timing adjuster. An aftermarket midpipe (O/R H will free up the restrictive stock pipe) Pullies are good Suspension mods to help in the handling department.

Has anyone removed the insulation under the stock gt hoods?

The clearcoat will fog and cause the color to dull over time. This usually takes years but the paint will not last as long.

    Help me decide, please

There's definately alot of low mile 96-98 Cobras around for less than $12,000. Keep looking around. On the other hand the 94-95 GT's can be modded for cheap.

Seriously why does the 4.6 need so many cams???

Sure you can. It's the same frame as the GT.

Off road H-pipe or X pipe, whats the difference?

H pipes give good low end power. X pipes give good high end power. The Mac Prochamber is a cross between an X and an H. It gives good mid to upper rpm power. All have a unique sound. I've had all 3.

Seriously why does the 4.6 need so many cams???

OHC is more efficient than the OHV pushrod engines. Plain and simple. It's all about inertia - the less weight it has to move, the less energy is required to open the valve, and thus, there is more energy that can be transferred to the crankshaft - meaning more HP to the wheels.

Off road H-pipe or X pipe, whats the difference?

An X will sound and perform well with your Magnaflows. 99 to present pipes are all the same for the GT's as far as fitment is concerned.
