    Why would your friend lie? Why would the dealer lie, when specifically asked, "Did you receive any 2005 Mustangs yet; sold or unsold, V6 or GT?" By the way, the reply was, "We expect to have some on the lots by the end of the month. I don't think any of them are available for purchase though."

    Really efficient production... remember, not only is this an all new platform, but it is being produced on an all new assembly line, using all the latest and greatest technology.

    Even though this has been beat to death: Fords primary demographic for the Mustang is not younger people. More older people buy Mustangs. It's a statistical fact. Albeit, they are mostly the V6's.
