    DIY Painting Opinions Wanted

Here is the Harbor Freight gun which is now $20 from the old $60 price: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=43430 The setup page for it: http://www.purplesagetradingpost.com/sumner/techinfo/HVLPspraygun.html I bought one myself for primer purpose and it's a...

rear axles spin in opp. directions

Look at the other 3 posts he's started - they're the reason I didn't give a serious answer. He probably posts on every message board he finds and just picks the best answer without reporting back or providing more details.

    Wipers return to "Home"

This reminds me of a little adventure I had with a co-worker's 351 powered '67. Since I commuted by train he offered to drive me home one rainy night so he could check my car out. As we got rolling his wipers barely crept across the window so he had to reach out with a squeegee to flick them up...

    In tank carb fuel pump

Thanks, I found out the local auto store sells it under the Purolator brand as well - it's made by a company called "Facet". I might use it as a prime pump after long-term parking when the bowls are dry. My original plan was to swap my mechanical for the Edelbrock Quiet-flo. Interestingly...

Put a potato in your left tailpipe, then crank the car while steering left. If the radio goes to 99.5FM, it means you installed your valve stem counter-clockwise.

New wheel pics from SEMA -- P-Shop help PLEEEEASE!

You're welcome, Reen. After all that, the rear end still sags. I'm guessing there is at least 1 burned down car or stripped out car sitting on cinder blocks within a 5 block radius of this thing.

What are the "GT40" wheels? When I do a search all I find are the Cobra/454/etc type. Aren't those the FR500s?

Neato, some of them look more like 19s though. I believe it's been determined that 9" in front is out of the question for a daily driver. Look at these threads, 8" is the practical maximum for 67-70 and they have the tech to prove it. Someone claiming 9" in front and showing all their pics...

    Unique Performance BAD NEWS!

There are allegations of "VIN washing", which is registering the salvage car out of state, then bringing it back in as a fresh, non-salvage title. The video also clearly shows the original VINs ground off.

The difference is Shelby did not grind off the original VINs. http://www.classicmustang.com/tech%20support/shelby_VINS.htm Grinding off the originals is not only un-Shelby, it seems like a very shady thing to do. What purpose would that serve, other than erase the complete history of a specific...

    2007 Sema Mustangs

That wing is "different". Love how the rear bumper fits, too. http://www.mustangdepot.com/CarShows/images/sema07/DSCF0007.JPG That red is sexy, though. I changed my mind from red to black for my car, but now I don't know.

I got sideswiped in '92 on the driver door, hence the primer. Then I got married in '95, had kids in '98, became Mr. Mom for 4 years (no $$$ for car), painted the car epoxy primer black then that faded and flaked off in the sun, then got a decent job last year and started bodywork a few months...

When I worked at a tire store we used calipers to measure rim width to enter into the balancing machine. The caliper always showed ~.5" more than the bead/advertised width. Not arguing with you since AR's site does show -5mm, but that's what I experienced in the field. Maybe the actual width can...

Here you go Bullitt or anyone else that wants to Photoshop their own 18s. Maybe even those 30s that Reen posted which should go well with my Foose-inspired paint. Just for kicks.. The good old days, when I went "Pro touring" in ~1993, before the trend fully kicked in. Those 50-series 15s...
