    I assume you're talking about the rears. At this point I don't think there is much you can do short of getting rid of the tires. The only thing I can think of would be adjustable lower control arms. You might be able to raise the rear enough to clear the tires. Not sure though.

    Need more information... did you just get the car and it's been doing this all along? Are you using the "chipped" key to try and start it? If it did just start happening, what were you doing right before this started? Do you have a spare "chipped" key to try instead of the one you're using?

    What "rotor" was the mechanic talking about? Our cars (at least these years) have coil packs that are solid state (no moving parts). I'm always very weary of mechanics and being ASE certified myself, I usually know when they are lying to me.
