    I've been thinking of doing the left side stripes like that in white or gray. I've seen them mostly of corvettes though. Not sure of the history or the significance of them. I just like the way they look.

    gear whine when accelerating

    My set of ford gears had a noticeable wine at around 60mph when I first installed them. It sounded like it was coming right up through my steeda uca. It went away after a couple weeks. Break-in time I guess.

    suspension sounds

    I have a squeeky UCA bushing. The dealer won't fix it because mine is aftermarket. :( I doesn't squeek if it's hot outside. But in the cold it gets loud. I fix it by just cranking up the radio. :)

    If you don't want to take a tech. class. You don't have any friends that are mechanics. No other way to learn besides tearing into it yourself. On-line forums can be very helpful.. :)

    They can go anywhere you want to mount them... If you didn't want to do it yourself...I'd take it to a body shop.

    sequentials out of sequence

    Its sounds like the resistor in the wiring harness for the sequential tail lights is going or has gone bad. Is it only on one side?
