    Just got a B&M shifter

    I like my Hurst. It seemed really stiff at first. But when your shifting through the gears fast and hard it's like butter. My stock shifter was like a loose and sloppy whore compared to the Hurst. Hell, half the time I could hardly tell if I even got it into third gear!

    I just keep a heavy coat of wax on it... and do it often. At least once a month. I drove mine home new from the dealer. On the way home... snap! ROCK CHIP! Right on the front of the F'ing hood! That s**t chips of easier than my wife's finger nail polish!

    With that mild drop all you need are the springs and an alignment with new adjustable camber bolts. :)

    I also found these installation instructions from Comp. Cams. http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Instructions/Files/COMP4-103.pdf These are written detailed instructions and go the way of removing the timing cover and accessories.

    :lol: No the chrome is actually flaking up and has become discolored inside the head of the studs... 2 so far.

    Here's a tighter shot of the problem area. You can see where the chrome is coming up from inside the center of the stud. I'm trying to contact the sales department to find out if they can supply replacement studs that can be taken out and replaced with new ones.

    Just pull out the converters... It will be a lot louder. Install some Comp. "Thumpr" Cams... That will liven-up the exhaust note as well.

    You have to take the bumper cover off to get access like that. Usually the plastic will hold the threads.
