Brembo gold zinc rotors, pics on a fox?

It only rubs off of the area where the pad sweeps. Untreated rotors will rust in the fins and on the center almost instantly. You'd have to take the rotor off to wire brush it off, and then it will come right back again if you leave it untreated. Keeps your car looking good; not many people...

Brembo gold zinc rotors, pics on a fox?

Drilled rotors do have a higher tendency to crack, yes. Slotted rotors are ideal for a street car. Drilled has little to no functionality off track.

    one expensive stang!!

The article is quite contradictive. It says it was one of the 185 that were not for street use, yet it gets sold to the public. Wouldn't that mean it has a VIN? If it does, then it is not 5F08F100001, 6, 7, or 8. I'd assume that they preceeded this one if that is the case. Something smells fishy.

    one expensive stang!!

No, I'm pretty sure it is #1. Mustang #1 has been in private hands since 1964, probably on loan to the Henry Ford museum. I guess someone needs money.

Fun to drive car less than 10,000 ?

It will break regardless. VWs aren't reliable, either. I have friends with them, and the new ones plain suck. Late 90s-present Nissan Maximas are a great purchase. The engine will go forever on routine maintenance, and they are priced well. Go for a 20th anniversary edition with a manual...

    one expensive stang!!

Send it to Barrett-Jackson and watch it get at least 4 million. People out there will pay $2 million for a Hemi Cuda convertible. There is only one Mustang #1.

    one expensive stang!!

Worth the 5.5m, assuming it is 5F08F100001. I didn't see a VIN there, so who knows. Numbers 6, 7, 8 were also 260ci Wimbeldon white convertibles.

    Built ford tough!

My arguements are based on stats and figures, such as comparing power to weight ratios, quality reviews and experience. Yours are based on what you like more. I don't insult Mustangs. The company that my dad and I run has more Mustangs than you'll ever have. I still give respect where respect is...

    Built ford tough!

What? The BFT team really did screw this one up. They confused a now out of production van (which was an OK seller..sort of a screw up) with their best selling vehicle. Going off topic here: Racing stoplight to stoplight in 3 feet of snow = difficult. The 260hp (not 300) Neon went to storage a...
