    I dont think it would be twice the price to make a fox handle like you want it, but from what i've heard the sn95's are a better place to start at for an autocross car. Fox's tend to be much better drag cars than the sn95's though. Also, this should probably be in talk.

    Is the car a 5 speed? If so then you might as well put a clutch in it while your in there. Aside from some little things like the rear main seal you really dont have to replace anything else.

    How to tell if u-joints are bad?

    Does it sound like the noise is directly under you or more towards the rear. If its in the rear it could be that the rear control arm bushings are beat. Mine used to clunk when going slow in first gear until i put in my new control arms in.

    O yea, the factory clutch will not work for that compressor and no parts store or ford dealer that i could find sells them. I ended up buying mine off of ebay from a guy who sells nothing but a/c clutches.

    Most dealer air cars (including mine) have a compressor with the part number HR980 on the top. It is about half the lenght of the factory compressor and is held up by i beleive 2 brackets (one on top of the p/s braket and a long straight one on the back of it).

    The clutch quadrant is most likely broken. Summit sells the kits to fix them, it would be under a clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster. Also, you might as well get a new cable for it while your in there.
