    I'm also in the market for a good Tubular K-member unit for road racing. Is the UPR built for road racing or is it just set up for drags? I've looked into the MM kit but it moves the wheels forward? So Rick I'll take any info you have on UPR, thanks.

    Ok I've looked into the Cantons but have heard bad things about fitment. I've only heard that the drag pans hit the k-member, but I've never heard anything about their road race pan. Do you have a link for Stefs?

    What crate engine?

    If you plan on any power from 650hp and below buy from DSS. They really put time and skill into their motors. I just got my short block from them about 2 weeks ago and it's built with complete detail. If you are planning higher then 650hp go with a Dart block or try to track down an A4 block.

    Off set the brackets and watch your distributer. You could crack the cap or even the distributer itself. Theres a metal ground band attached to the back of the block as well, remember that you have to unhook that.

    A single plane will give you more horsepower but a dual plane will give more torque. So a dual plane would be more streetable.
