    Saleen pics are up!

First thought when I looked at it. "Are those Crossfire rims?" No thanks :)

Can you use the Automatic shifter knob from the T-Bird?

I don't know if it'll fit on the 2005, but you can buy a nice manual clone shift knob for your automatic. I'm sure he'll have a 2005 model soon enough if it doesn't fit. Not sure if that is the feel you were going for, I haven't seen the t-bird shifters. Here...

The best looking 05 i've seen, 20" wheels!

Reminds me of the concept car in a way. Wheels can single-handedly change the look of a car imho. Those wheels take the stock-mustangs slim and small rims from a "I'm a skinny mustang" look to a "I'm an aggressive muscle car, wanna race .. bit*h?".

    No '05 GT till January?????

Yep, what that dealer tells you is entirely true. There will be no Mustang Gt's till 2005! :)

What should I have painted on my stang?

May I inquire how much the base paint job is going to cost anyways? I haven't had the time to find a local shop to get estimates. And I'm considering doing the graphics kit thing, just curious. Nice car!

    2005 GT - new shoes

Do you have it in the public or private area of your briefcase? Because if you remove the script garbage from the URL, you get "You do not have permission to view this image ... yadda yadda yadda".

    Saleen, Steeda, Roush, Boss

That looks like the Concept car with a slight photo-tweak. None the less, it's nice. I just hope someone comes out with SOMETHING that brings us closer to the wide-stance-looking Concept car. The concept was flat out beautiful. The new one seems too narrow for me. Granted, small wheels can do...

Be the First to Own 2005 Seats...

Hell, I'd buy just the headrest. Man oh man do I hate the headrest in my GT! Does anyone actually drive with their head leaning backwards? I actually like Fords newer-generation cloth seats. We have them in our 2004 Expedition. If 2-toned (light and dark grey in that), they look and feel...

    Exhaust Question

It's actually considered illegal to void a warranty based upon aftermarket parts (for some info, see: Magnuson-Moss Act). They can void the warranty on the missing/altered part, but unless they get an FTC exemption, they're legally liable to fix anything else that goes wrong within reason...

    Saleen Body kit opinions wanted.....

$3500? How much of that was service/paint? You can get a Saleen look-a-like at grounddynamics.com , I had their 97 SaleenClone. It was fiberglass, and never got it installed. But it was considerably cheaper. It's about $800 + Shipping I think. Which is better the Saleen Urethane, or the...

    Concept vs. Production photos

Call me crazy, but it looks far different in my eyes. - The door line is more sloped on the production. - The car is more round, this is apparent in the hood. - The front/back bumpers have a different shape. - The car is higher. - The scoops are missing. - The rear window doesn't have...

    Roush Opinion on Saleen clones

I disagree with that actually. If the kit is a Saleen kit made by Saleen (there is a fiberglass kit made by grounddynamics without the Trademarks) you have every right to put a sticker/stickers on your car. Hell, if I put Perelli tires on my car, I have every right to put a pirelli badge on it...
