    I just did this on the 88, just unscrewed the baffle and took the thin sheet metal out. Works fine.

    dirty K&N affect power??

    I got the cheap $35 CAI for the 04 and it picked up .3 sec in ET just with that one change. Granted, the K&N filter is a better product but the ebay cheapy is not a bad deal at all. The filter I got looks just like the Cool Blue from Accel.

    guys with 04 gt 5spds any problems since u had the car?

    No squeeks but it has gone through 2 Transmissions in 36k. 3rd gear seems to be the weak point in the 3650's. It also has had a Cyl 1,5 misfire since it was new, and Ford can't seem to figure it out.

    I should be able to tell you tonight if it's on a 5.0. I spent last night running back and forth to the parts store changing belts. The one I have now is Gates 716 and it's too short. That's supposed to be a 72" belt. The 73.5 belt was too long. I'll post tonight once I get the right one.
