    I don't think you can, cause then you're tensioner is not going to work. You can buy kit that moves the power steering up there, or just a free spinning pulley that goes up there.

    My '90 coupe has the police package. The 130 amp alternator had an external regulator. My question is, how do I wire up my new alternator from PA Performance? Which wires do I use for the "A" and "I" on the new plug? I think its a similar setup to the 85-86 stangs that had external regulators.

    You would probably have to find a way to tell the computer the air bag was still there or disconnect the system all together, otherwise you'll always get a light. There is a blue box on the right side of the radio up under the dash. Its the air bag module. Might have to dissconnect that. DON'T...

    If you can find an AWD Aerostar in the junkyards, you'll find the aluminum drive shaft in there. Not sure of the years, but its probalby around early 90s. Just FYI

    trbkrb hit it right on the head. Not that hard to do, just remove all the screws, pop out the plastic "christmas tree" plugs that hold the panel on and reach up and unplug the mirror motor.

    There is a ford dealership online that sells a complete tune up kit, motorcraft plugs, motorsport 9mm wires(very good wires), cap & rotor, fuel filter for about $90. Well worth it. Don't remember the link though.

    It won't cause any problems, but there will be visible holes on the top of the front bumber where you unbolted your grill from.

    All that helps, and the lights will look better, but only for a short time. You'll need to do that over and over. I'd get a new set if you could.

    Did you just hit the back of the wheel with the hammer, or did you hit it down closer to the shaft?
