    K&N drop in or JLT if you just have to have a CAI. Get the one that puts the maf in the fender well. Get rid of the RP as soon as possible - total JUNK! Replace with Mobil 1 and Motorcraft filter.

    Sounds like your engine is just fine. Wont hurt to check the plugs, but the rest I don't think is worth while.

    :stupid: Although it wont pull as hard at 6k as it will at 5k, it shouldn't "struggle". Does it sound funny past 5k? Could be bad plugs not firing.

    IMHO, unless you are having drivability issues, or have maxed your maf, you don't need a tune unless you want another 5 rwhp or so from a leaner mixture and more timing. Wait... one thing to consider is that the above is based on the fact that the factory maf is tuned already, but a CAI...

    Basically yes. Increasing tq will make you faster. The difference is that knowing the tq of an engine tells you only half the story. You need to also know the rpm that the tq is made at to understand the engines ability to accelerate a vehicle. Most will agree with that. What they don't realize...
