    Have you tried adjusting this idle circuit for a good idle? Cruise and idle run off two seperate ckts so its possible it's both, not sure why it would start out of the blue but if it's happening it's happening.

    Thanks. Yes, it's a clearance issue and I'm trying to avoid a spacer. If I find I have hop, though I shouldn't with this suspension I'll go with a spacer.

    Closer to the tire, not the center of the axle. Not the upper or lower control arm. It connects to the top of the axle tube next to the dust shield/backing plate of the drum and points towards the rear of the car and connects to the frame next to the gas tank. Between the shock and the tire.

    No, it's a small one connects to the top axle tube to the rear of the frame, just in front of the shock.

    Hood is a Cervini 5.5 and it's a little tough to see over but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It's just the right turns that are a little tricky, gotta make sure you don't clip the curb lol Here is a pic of the engine bay

    I'd also give a call to your builder to make sure this is an expected issue with your cam. Whenever you buy a cam,the specs should come with it.
