    Went to Walmart yesterday to get some oil and a filter. I have always used the Ph8a filter since the car was new and also used it on my 89 LX. When looking through the fram catolog it had a Ph8a spec'd for the GT and a Ph16a spec'd for the Cobra. Does anyone know what the difference is ? I mean...

    I like the Saleen sytle and the 96/98 Cobra hoods. I liked the Cobra R hoods when they first came out but now I now I don't like them. Both cars look great. The paint looks mint on both of them. Mark

    I would have a toughtime with that decision to. An 02 GT probably rides alot nicer than a 94 Cobra and has a smoother egine as well.     The guys doesn't know what he's talking about. I live in MA and have had flows for years without any problem. I just got my emisions done last year. I did have to put my cats back for that but I'll leave them off for the safety inspection this year. Mark

    I had my 89 LX going 140 on the nose for about 5 miles at 3:00am. That was with the 15 inch 225. The car felt pretty stable although I was drunk at the time(Don't condon that sort of thing :rlaugh: ). Iv'e had my 95 up about 130. I was a little older then and straight :flag: Mark

    GTJake is right. The Cobra's came with cast iron GT-40 heads. The sig at the top of the forum lists all the stuff the 94/95 Cobra's came with. I know you can also get info on any cobra by contacting Ford SVT. Mark

    94/95 Cobra's definetly did not come with a STB. This was because the Cobra intake sits a little higher and the brace wouldn't clear it.

    They call it a spout connecter on the 94/95's. I'm not 100% sure were it is. I had the shop advance mine when I got my gears done.     MY buddy just got his 97' Camaro....

    My friend had a 95 Z28 and that thing was fast. I could hang with him from the start but when I hit 3rd gear he started to pull away from me pretty easy. That was before I did any mods, I would think I would do a little better now.

    How wide can I go

    I have 17x8 Cobra rims with 255/45 and have no problem with rubbing up front. I'm like to go with 265/35 18 up front and 285/35 18 outback. Those 335's are to much !!!!
