    if a motor looses oil pressure it can shut off and start back up after.. Thats why during cash for clunkers they had us check them after they shut off because some of them would start back up then you would have to run them again until it seized BTW you have a S/C does your warranty...

    I hope it's the starter.. Since he can't turn the engine by hand it's quite possible that the starter is seized in the engaged position. BUT I have heard that sound before in his clip.... when a motor is seized :(

    if you cant spin the crank bolt with a ratchet that is not good.. it does not take a ton of effort to turn the crank. Once the snow goes away get a breaker bar on it with a 18mm socket.. if it does not bulge take the starter out and hope like hell the starter is jammed..

    As WM said if the car is still running with the IAC unplugged this is a problem. It should die out right away.. Ok I have to rewrite this since I just saw you replaced the IAC.. You need to check your VMV.. you might have a VMV sticking open and this will effect the PCM's ability...
