    Idle jumps up randomly when I come to a stop

    I have a 96 GT with 70,000 miles. I just got it last week. The only mods are an O/R h-pipe with a flowmaster catback and a K & N. The only problem is when i come to a complete stop and the idle drops to 900 or so, it will suddenly just bump up to 1100 or 1200 and come right back down again...

    so is the door bar difficult to climb over then? this roll bar is going to be in a car that will be driven often. would the extra money for swing outs be worth it in this case?

    yes, pics please. i was considering getting a bar done there as well. i talked to him once over the phone and got quoted about $900 something for an 8 pt w/ swing outs. if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay? Swing outs? Chromoly or Mild Steel? thanks.

    Are all lower control arms interchangable?

    the only thing i can think of is that they are talking about 99-03 Cobra's which use an Independent Rear Suspension unlike the 87-03 GT's and LX's which use a solid rear axle.

    where to put rear bars for a roll bar in coupe with a battery box in the trunk?

    I'm looking into getting a 6 or 8 pt roll bar for my coupe but if there is a battery box in the trunk, where would the two bars that come into the trunk area go? Can they go to the shock towers or do they have to go further back? Pics of roll bars in a coupe would be awesome. thanks

    jkstang, where did you buy them from? astronut, i heard southsides were very good as well, but i heard they really tear up the torque boxes and they dont even make them anymore. Dont they have a similar design to the megabites?
