E303 cam installed now no start!

For future reference, instead of disconnecting the coil, just disconnect the TFI connector from the distributor. This will not only keep it from sparking, but will also not allow any fuel to spray. :nice:

    stock 302 is dead!!!!

I agree with Jason. Especially if you don't have a lot of aftermarket 302 stuff bought yet (intake, headers, lifters, pushrods, etc.).

    Oil primeing tool

    Yep. . . . and for future reference, a 351W uses a 5/16" socket.

    cobra brakes

Yeah, I already posted that -- if you had read the whole thread before posting, then you would've seen that.

    cobra brakes

The 94 and up Cobras do have a better braking package, but the '93 Cobras only had rear discs as an upgrade.

    cobra brakes

First off, the question is why would you want to do it? The '93 Cobra front calipers are the same as what you have and the only difference in the rotor is the depth of the hat. Basically, you would need to upgrade the master cylinder, change axles, and add caliper brackets in addition to...

    Bump Steer Kit Problem

I had the exact same issue with my Steeda bumpsteer kit. I just figured it was a quality control issue and I got a set that wasn't tapped far enough. I was lazy and didn't feel like returning it and waiting for a new one, so I just wacked off one of the threads on the inner tie rods.

    dash swap

That's purely your opinion. ....please let someone else have their own opinion that 4-eyed cars are inferior. ;)

different rebuild parts for 2.95 gearset?

Yes, the kit will work fine. None of the bearing sizes, etc. change between the ratios.

    dash swap

Total BS. If you're so adamant about the nose swap, then yopu should be the same about the interior. You're such a hypocrite. :nonono: Funny. . . no one has disrespected me for transforming a 4-cyl coupe into a 5.0L coupe.

    dash swap

This coming from a guy that has a '97 Explorer motor in a Mustang. . . . if you wanted an Explorer, then you should've bought one.

    stock 302 rebuild

Unless the new hardware requires the short block internals to be changed or if there are signs of major wear caused by abuse, I wouldn't open the motor up until at least 200,000 miles. My '91 302 motor is still on the stock short block and it is well passed 300,000 miles on it. It currently...

    *URGENT*Help T5 wont go in reverse/Shift Smooth

Actually, that "keyed washer" is part of the reverse brake that was supposed to solve the grinding when going into reverse that the T-5 is notorious for. It was introduced around 1992 and most newer T-5's will have it. Your right about it needing to be aligned corectly with the tail housing...

    Questions abouit Nittos...

The FRPP uppers are a waste of money IMO. They are basically OEM units with maybe a somewhat stiffer bushing. I never said he had to reinforce them. My suggestion is to get matching upper/lowers. I have seen a few cars rip up their torque boxes when using stock upper with aftermarket...

    *URGENT*Help T5 wont go in reverse/Shift Smooth

There is a nylon bushing that goes in the shifter block. Are you sure that was in there when you reinstalled the shifter? If you don't have that bushing in place, then you will have excess play in your shifter and you will have problems like you are describing.

    Questions abouit Nittos...

I recommend getting upper control arm at the same time you get the lowers. Otherwise, you will be jeopardizing your torque boxes; especially if you start using a sticky tire and drive it hard. I use Factory-5 Racing control arms and swear by them as far as quality construction and good...
