    SCT SF3 Rev Limiter

    The canned tunes from SCT are like that but my custom tune works like i described. I'd forgotten about that. My car is a 5 speed and having the two step rev limiter is one less thing to concentrate on when launching on street tires. It also gets funny looks out of Prius drivers at redlights.

    My 2000 had the factory battery until 2006. Its got an optima now. I am quite happy with it. The battery terminals and cables look brand new. I hate seeing crusty battery terminals!

    2003 certainly had the aluminum crossover. The o-ring is kinda hard to put on wrong but i guess it could happen. Two bolts will tell us!

    Ok looked closer. Mine is different. It only has one line coming out of that side and only one small deep hole, not the wider shallow one. There is a plastic plug but its under a bracket. Sorry dude.

    I have had zero problems with my ABS. Does a socket fit in there? or maybe a Allen wrench. If it does try cracking it loose an tightening it back up. I would have checked mine but it looks like you have to take the bracket off and its too early in the morning for that.

    Door Hinge Bushings

    OK so I got around to doing this today. The pin listed above was the perfect size. The bushing however was too big on the OD. I drilled out the hinge with a 15/32 bit which was a tad small. 31/64 wouldn't have held the bushings tight though so I very precisely enlarged the hole with my 15/32...

    SCT SF3 Rev Limiter

    It is an option. There is a "neutral" (neu) limit which is the limit when you are stopped. I have mine at 3000 and mess with people at redlights- and i think it will go down to 2500. It also helps with the launch if you need it. The "drive" (drv) limit is self explanatory.

    That is where the coolant crossover is. If you are lucky it is the coolant sensor threads. My car has a sensor in one side and a plug in the other. I agree on going around to the other side of the car.

    Oil Change Problem

    My 2000 GT only has one plug. I want to say it has an O-Ring in the flange of the plug but i couldn't promise. I never use a sealer and have had no leakage. The filter is going to hold about half a quart after you run the engine. Go get that beer.

    2001 GT firewall coolant leak

    That looks like the condensate drain for the AC system. Are you sure it is coolant and not condensation? If the heater core were leaking it could drain out of that hole. Does your AC smell like syrup or your defrost fog the windows up more?

    Clutch Adjustment troubles

    It could be your pilot bearing spinning the input shaft. Did you change it? Did you booger it up installing it or lining the transmission back up? Have you tried pulling up on the pedal and letting the quadrant adjust? Sounds like its adjusted pretty high already so thats probably not it.

    MPS has reman's for 1000 - 1500. Transmissions Ebay has used T-45s (99-00) for ~$500+ and 3650s (01-04) for ~$750+ If you have a T-45 now I would consider swapping it for a T-3650.
