    i was saying that you could use either cam in either head. If Comp had listed one cam for Windsor and another for Romeo then i would say not to mix. But they don't so I say use whatever you find a deal on.

    Comp Cams only list one cam for the 4.6 which is another vote for interchangable.

    If its a stick its likely to be your throwout bearing. It could also be an idler pulley. Is the sound dependent on wheel speed or engine speed? Maybe you have mice in your car...

    99 to Jan 01 was the run of the Windsor engines in the mustang so Feb 01 to the last 04 should be bolt on Romeo cams.

    It isn't supposed to matter but I'd play it safe and keep my Windsor (pressed gear) cams with my Windsor ( individual caps ) heads and my Romeo ( bolt on gear ) with my Romeo (ladder caps) heads.
