    Not enough power... In 2005

Because all 3 are not the same driver demographic, each have different safety ratings. Even though there are a lot less GT's on the road than V6's, they seem to be in more accidents because 18 year olds think they are Mario Andretti. V6's tend to be driven by more conservative adults. GT's &...

In car vid of Mustang accelerating!

I once had a bad wire, so I was only running on 7 cyliders, so I suppose a V7 may be theoretically possible, if that is any sort of vindication for you.

talked to one of the 05s designers today............

Yeah, I agree... and it seems most car manufacturers are abandoning maximum aerodynamic efficiency in favor of some better styling cues as well.

Not only everything you just said, but the warranty aspect alone. Dealers typically offer warranties on the cars and they don't want that warranty to now cover a kenne belle chip and supercharger, too! Dealers don't mind mods, so long as they are stuff they can fix on-site, with their own staff...

    yet another convertible question...

They won't use a differet hood for the verts. Too costly. However, Ford isn't deaf, they hear what we say. It just takes time for the corporate gears to turn, not to mention money and R&D. I'd bet my bottom dollar that the 2007 update (which seems they update every model after 2 years with new...

    Job 1 Don't get excited!!

I could be mistaken, but I believe it is law that they have a window sticker if they plan on selling it as "new" from the factory.

    $1000 for more power!!!

Ummmm.... was that English? It kind of looked like English, but, was that English?

    Cervini Eleanor

  I agree.. it's a tad too much... somewhere between the base GT and that rendering would suit my tastes, but, as I have said in the past, to each his own. It's your damn Mustang; do with it as you please.

Wow... it took me three paragraphs to say what you said in three sentences... I love it! :nice:

Agreed. Also, keep in mind they were testing on preproduction models.

    Not enough power... In 2005

I don't disagree in the least, but we simply can't compare the 2005 Mustang with these other cars considering only power. You have to take into consideration the MSRP of these cars. Power = Money; wether from the factory or otherwise, it's as simple as that. Granted, Ford has always been had...

    Not enough power... In 2005

I, too, have heard that the car is underrated for the same reasons that rich8566 indicated. And, regarding the model year 2007 Cobra... do not speculate wether this car will be made or not. It will be made. Ford has publicly committed itself to making it. Just look into a PowerLease. In...

    Cost of 2005 Mustang

They didn't even spell "insurance" correctly. They spelt it "incurance." I'm skeptical of the quality of the insurance... I'd be afraid that in the even of an accident, they would say, "But you didn't buy insurance according to our documents. You bought incurance. Sorry."

    yet another convertible question...

Remember: the test mules used the tops from the SN95 Mustang and retro fitted them. On the mules, the top itself wasn't so important as measuring chassis flex, vibrations and other major structural stuff that needs to be fixed structurally. The top is inconsequential at that point of testing...

    Up-to-the-day Stang Info

I have heard the same thing. I would suggest waiting out the next 23 days till job one... we'll know for sure then. My understanding is that it is because of the bolt pattern that the 18" wheels wont be out until April. The factory that ford gets the rims from cannot produce enough of all the...

    yet another convertible question...

I expect to see Ford to start unveiling the convertible late September... Asof now, I have only seen test mule pictures of the vert. I, too, am a vert person and am anxiously awaiting the pics...

    next theme stang?

It's all good. But to answer your question: no. Ford has not said anything except the SVT will be made in 2006 as a 2007 and expect a Shelby version at some point, but no guarantees.
