    Don't know about a a4ld. I have a 89with 2.3t auto don't go c-3.I did came with motor major problems go 5-speed. I had to go c-4 auto wife's car she can't drive standard and don't want to learn. Best luck with your car.

    Try autozone .com go repair info then vehicle repair then year etc follow the steps to drivetrain then trans mission. Hope this helps.

    Check for vacumn at modulator valve. You maybe hearing vacumn leak. Other than that I have no idea other than changing the modulator valve. Good Luck.

    I had 2 c-3 in my 89 mustang turbo. Both leaked at front pump seal. If it comes out think strongly to have transmission person check front bushing. Don't go have the nightmares I had. I gave up Found good used c-4 with proper bellhousing to install.

    I bought a non intercooled turbo coupe motor in a junk mustang that didn't have a hood. I put a turbo coupe intercooler, clocked the turbo. I made one with a flat piece of metal hole in it and piece of steel pipe. kentucky engineering but worked. Motor now in wife's mustang nonintercooled...

    I took off the cover of a big vam. Looking at it wiring toward you plastic cover off . Only 1 wire of u holds the wheel. With vam door shut right hand of u is in the notch of the 3 of 023.     I just thought of something check rotor button. I cracked one where it goes onto the shaft once letting it be off time drove me nuts. But it was my fault I broke it putting the ignition cap. Good luck

    On mine it's a square plastic cover. under it is a gear with u shape wire that is mounted on one and the two tips of the wire is in the teeth of gear. I just raised the two tips up and move gear for more tension. I recommend you mark it or count the teeth so you put it back if it doesn't help...

    I run stock down pipe to 3" to 3" dynomax ultraflow changed to 2 1/2" pipe for a 5.0 over the rearend sounds good future plans 3" directly off turbo. Hope this helps
