    Modern cars as classics?

Penguin, I think you hit the nail on the head with the limited numbers. I think that is an important factor. Honestly, if I purchase a newer Mustang it will be because I really want the car. With all the money I have put into my '65 I don't think I will see the value in terms of dollars but...

    Modern cars as classics?

Guys: I love my 65 but I've being eye'ing the newer Mustang, namely the Shelby GT500. Do you think the newer Mustang's will ever be classics? While purchasing this car would be a lot of fun...especially on straight streets with no cops...will it ever been a real investment?

    Maryland-based painter

Silver, I actually have the paint that was used, so I don't have to worry about color match. I just need a skilled painter than can fix the scratches. A buddy suggested just "touching up" the paint myself but I don't know about that.

I wish I could ship them back to Hong. Problem is that the roof is scratched...along with the rocker panel. Thanks for the recommendation, 68GT500KR_Vert.

    Maryland-based painter

Guys: I recently had my Mustang restored then transported from Cali to MD. During the move the car was scratched a few times. Needless to say, I'm in need of a skilled painter. Stangnet led me to my first guy so I thought I'd try again. I'm located in Upper Marlboro - off 301...

    fiberglass cowl hood

I was going to use a fiberglass hood...everyone from the body guy and the guys on here suggested that I go a different way. I ended up using my original metal hood, cutting a hole in the top and using a Shelby/Branda hood scoop. Looks good and keeps the car a little cooler.

Good paint shops in So Cal??

Hung Luu I used a guy by the name of Hung Luu in Azusa. He works on tons of classic cars--including my 65 and Mario's 66 Fastback. Mario, another Stangnet member, recommended him to me months ago. Here is Hung's number: 626.758.0199. The shop is located at 950 Foothill. If you'd like to see...

Just finished my relocation from CA to MD. I was in Waldorf yesterday (Wednesday) and noticed a gathering of old and new cars at the Safeway off of 301. I didn't see any Mustang but I'm wondering if anyone from here cruises that "show." Regie

    Package Tray and 25 panels

Does the package tray go over the tabs at the rear/top of the quarter panels? Or under the tabs? There is a screw hole in both the panel and the tray.
