    has any one tried upr intake tube

    I'm thinking of buying this, I need a new intake tube to fit my 90mm lightning maf: 96-04 Mustang Aluminum Intake Tube just courious if any one tried it an what they thought of it. My main question is will it fit the 90 maf. thanks.

    ? on the 4.6.....

    I would think after so long or so many miles they wouldn't have to replace the parts. I had a 95 contour that had broken springs but they weren't covered by the recall since i had over 75K or something like that on it.

    Freshen up '97 Cobra engine?

    I'm new to the mod motor but from what i've read if it's well maintained it will run hard for a long time. I'm slapping a kenne bell on mine shortly. if i were you i'd check the plugs, run a can or two of seafoam through the intake an check to make sure the cats aren't clogged.

    there was a guy that said he was an engineer on the 4.6 development team an he said he only runs 3w30. I run 5w30 in the cobra an 5w20 in the mariner.

    check the link i put in post #7. those guys go crazy into oil analysis, new "virgin" oil and used analysis. basicly they like pensoil an moble 1 syn oils an wix, motorcraft, pulolator filters. they get into using syn oils for 10K+. oh, an they hate most additives.

    a lot of posters used to find good stuff on this site on oil products: Welcome I heard the higher end fram filters were better than the standard fram filter but cost a lot more than a motorcraft.

    lookin good. i have crap tint that came on my rear side windows an lots of residue on the rear window from a bad tint job. i hope to get it lookin as good as yours some day.

    i've read that the tire weight is a bigger factor since it spins farther from the center of the hub so its mass have a bigger impact, but 5 lbs a wheel is big.

    the previous owner making that a drag car may have saved it. it kept it off the road in the ohio winters. I bought a 84 t top notch in central ohio the p.o. made a drag car out of, it was the super clean for a rust belt car.

    if its getting close to rebuilt time, the lucas additive may buy you some time on the old clutches. but it's not a long term solution, but it's extended one for me before till i was ready to do an over haul.
