NO, I dont think so they are only rated at 317tq so with a 15% loss thru the drivetrain that would be around 270 and mine made 280. Mabye you are thinking of the newer 4 valves, they make more tq than mine does. The Mach cars are factory rated at 335 :hail2: .
BBK long tubes, catted X pipe, flowmasters, March pulleys, JLT coldair, Steeda shifter, Steeda adj quad and cable, Ford Cobra lowering springs and 4:10 or 4:30's havent made my mind up on those yet  .
thanks :D , I will admit I was a little worried about it not putting down what it did, because of the notorious problems ford had with the 99's. :nonono:
You must have not seen my recent threads :nono: , I got a great offer on my 98 last week........10 grand for my car and the new motor :D . The guy that got it is a regular vistor to the speed-shop where all my work is done, so he already knew of my car and was aware of the new motor I had and...
Ok guys here is the sheet
I feel pretty good, It put down exactly what it should have :D . I guess the "Fix" worked  . Now let the mods begin. :hail2: :hail2:
thanks, Ive done some research on it and the 99's put out right at the 270 mark after they had the factory fix so im hopeing everything is good and it lays down what it should. It feels plenty strong on the street so Im not expecting any problems. :D
Well Im takeing the new ride to the dyno to get some baseline numbers before the mods begin in a couple weeks. Im looking for around 270hp and 275tq, the only mod is the dam Borla side exhaust. What do you guys think? Oh yea it has had the "Fix" from the factory also. :nice: I'll post...
yep, the guy that bought my car already knew about all the stuff that was on my new motor, and he was aware of what a deal I got for it:mad: . Hes a regular spectator at the shop and had been looking at a fox but decided to make a offer on my car and see if I took it, my car or his car now is...
I just got my 99 cobra 3 days ago :nice: I've seen the intakes your talking about and would like to know how they do on n/a cars also. By the way how is that cold-air kit you have and how much was it. Ive seen it advertised in the mags as the (highest gains for a coldair kit) better than C&L...
check into a roots style blower for your bird, I know they are expensive but it will be the best thing you can do to get some good numbers out of your bird. I remember seeing a blown 97 at Coastal Plains raceway in Jacksonville NC, he was running high 12's with the Allen kit and low boost.
