    yes. To bypass the heather core remove the 2 hoses off the coolant pipes at the back of the manifold that go to the firewall, and get a section of hose to jumper them. I would recommend pulling your capet back and allowing that to dry also.

    Yes it would. Classic symptoms of the heater core gone bad. You can bypass it if you until you have time or money to fix it.

    best heads/intake combo?

    With the victors you will need to flycut the pistons if your on the stock bottom end. On a stock bottom end you can go max 1.94 on the valve and then not wild on the cam before PTV issues. A set of AFR 165's,custom cam, good intake with good tune should put you well into the 300's.

    I did H/C/I on a 100k +. As long as the motor is healty the motor is good to go. Mine ran like a champ. Really the only reason I pulled my motor was to go stroker. Have seen these motors go 175-200 with proper care and sometimes even without any care.

    Intank 255 Should support your #'s and 100 shot in the future. Noise would be no more than stock. Ford clains that a 255lph pump at 12v and 40psi will support 700hp. I don't believe the #'s but it will easily support 400 at the tires NA or small shot.

    Local guy here has a nice set of RFD ported 185's these made 650+ with a blower on a 349. Hes a good guy and honest too. Wants 1450.00 OBO So if you can scrape up enough you could get a nice ported set for the cost of a box stock ones...maybe less...
