In California, they are talking about revoking the 30 year non-smog program. Then looking into the removal of these cars from the road. The bad old days...

    I haven't seen any other black Mach 1's with other than black stripes factory. There is a guy at mach1registry.org that had silver ones made and then he put them on. The other one is the Autoart 1:18 scale Mach 1 that I got in today.

    The hood would be fine, you'd just have this big hole in it because you'd have to remove the shaker. If you're talking about a roots on a Mach 1, of course someone would have to build one first.

    Check at the mach1registry forums. The stock Mach 1 shocks seems top work ok, but do bottom out occasionally. Aftermarket seems the way to go.

    On ebay, find performance peddler. I ordered my exhaust through him and wrote him a week later to get some tips from him for about $50 delivered. Damn, those have been sitting in my closet since I got the 3 months ago, I should go put them on :)

    Go to the Ford website and search for new vehicles. Then you can search for new 2003's. When I did my search about 3 months ago there were about 30 in Orange and Riverside County. There's one less now :) Here's a link...

    Transmission Problem: Need HELP! Vid inside.

    Might want to give your u-joints a shake too. I had a noise almost like that when accelerating and decelerating. Seems that my u-joint had come loose at the bolts and was winding and unwinding with the speed of the tranny. Freaked me out pretty bad

    Nope, it's an all over issue. Been in sunny San Diego and my Mach 1 is having issues until it comes up to operating temperature. Hope they hurry and get the TSB out
