    Time Change tonight

Everyone complaining about Day Light Savings Time doesn't get it!! We are about to change the clocks back to the real time! The real time is based on the sun being at it's zenith at 12:00 noon. Day Light Savings time moves the clocks up to give us an additional hour through most of the...

    door jamb wire covers

Same kit here: They are working fine, but make sure you are going from inside the door jamb to inside the door jamb. You are going to need a right angle drill to drill the holes. Tim

    Flaring a 65 Fastback?

Actually they used '67 inner wheel well panels and stretched the stock '65 quarter panels over them. I think it yielded about an inch and remained very stock looking. I'll see if I can find the thread and post a link later. Tim

Granada - Outer Tie Rod Connection

I think that now is a good time to swap your outer tierod ends out with a Baer Tracker bumpsteer corrector kit - http://www.streetortrack.com/Baer-Tracker-Bump-Steer-Kit-c-465.html The granada spindles often accentuate bumpsteer through the suspension travel. Plus the hemi joint helps to...

    Will a 67 parking break handle fit a 65?

I couldn't find the '67 billet parking brake handle on their website. Do you have a link? I'm interested in this too, I've broken way to many plastic parking brake handles. I did see a nice looking '69 - '70 billet handle though - http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb.dll?parta~partsort Tim

Looks great and I can't wait to see it reassembled! And congratulations on spraying the paint yourself. I've really got to hand it to anyone that does their own body and paint. Have you painted before? Tim

Have you ever gotten to a point where Stangnet bores you?

Yea, it seems like the classic forum has slowed down a little bit the past year or so. I still stop in almost everyday to read the post titles and offer help where I think I can be of assistance, but I rarely start any threads lately. Tim

Issues with MSD box and timing light

That would make sense, because the MSD is Multiple Spark Discharge. A standard ignitions sends one electrical pulse (for one spark) per cylinder cycle. An MSD ignition will send 3-4 pulses per cylinder, thus the erratic timing light output. fvike has your solution. Tim

    Autox a 65-66 in ESP?

Rob, Good luck on the repurchase of your old car, it sounds like you should never have let it get away from you. As for the fiberglass composite leaf springs - http://flex-a-form.com/ - they are supposed to respond much quicker then steel, but I'm not sure how adjustable they are...

What would cause engine break-up at 5200 RPM?

You should be getting 5-6 psi at 5200 rpm. Get a cheap gauge from Summit and install it on your fuel feed line to your carb. Have someone take it up slowly while you keep an eye on the gauge. I was running the stock mechanical pump, so your electric pump probably isn't the problem. Tim

What would cause engine break-up at 5200 RPM?

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? Check to make sure that you have constant fuel pressure at the upper RPM range. I had this problem with my similar horse power 302. The stock fuel pump could not feed it past 5,000 rpm. Tim
