    The bypass modules need to scan your key to work. You must be within inches to scan the code from they key. You can't just buy a bypass module and bypass any PATS.

    I have the xcal2 and love it. You don't need a computer to use it. The tunes come loaded on the handheld. Your stock tune will be stored on the handheld too. The only time you need to use a computer is to change settings.

    I have noticed my fan comes on more often than stock with a SCT mail order tune (xcal2).
