    yeah but does it depend on if you have the clutch engaged or not. still could be an exhaust leak. if your exhaust was a ball and socket type of flange you need to go even and not crazy when you tighten them down.

    no they are bad they should be dry when you pull the boot back. they are really easy to change 2 bolts and the line and they come out.

    no they are not too bad as long as u either have a press or a vise. getting them to turn freely after you are done can be a pain. but usually they are not too bad.

    i got mine for car quest. 130 amp and came with the 3g conv plug. paid 150. not sure f i would go with a salvage yard one unless they can test it there. bad experiences with salvage yards.

    yeah the vibration gets bad at about 65 mph and doesn't get any better as speeds increase. thanks for all of the help will let u know if that does it.

    importance of pcv valve?

    the pcv valve (positive crankcase ventilation valve) it alows the pressure in the crank case out of the crank case and it goes back into the intake. as long as you have some sort of filter that allows the pressure out of the case you will be fine.

    you could do that but i have seen optima's that have holeds in them and they were fine so, you have nothing to worry about.

    did you just do plugs? or did you do the cap and rotor also. you could also chech the injectors to see if they are firing. if you have a long screwdriver place the flat headed part on the injector and put your ear to the handle and listen for the tick that is produced form the injector...

    yes this would cause a no start condition. Since the map sensor is comparing the pressure outside the intake to the pressure inside the intake and adjusting air and fuel from that. Then if you are not getting a reading then it doesn't know what the pressure is and can't set your fuel trim. So...
