    As long as the stock smog stuff is intact, no worries. The CA system knows from the VIN what engine/controls you have. It will come into the state as a used vehicle.

    Why don't you try going to a paint store and have them color match? Many shops can even put the paint in aerosol cans. Might work.

    rattling from left front wheel

    Check if the caliper is rattling in the mounting bracket. My '96 GT with Cobra upgrade did it. I fixed it with a new hardware kit. (the spring clips). My '01 Cobra doesn't but it has rubber inside the spring clips. I have read in other forums that this is fairly common.

    Congrats on the new mod. I can tell you first hand that this is a quality unit with an excellent company. I have had mine for over 50,000 (almost) daily driven miles on my '96 GT. It has never given me a minutes problem. Enjoy it!

    I suggest Y2K Cobra R in chrome. They're 18 X 9 1/2 and fit perfectly.

    Looks like you have to buy a new assembly. See Wythors above. He glued them right away. Mine were tight, could even see glue on them.

    Oil change question.....sorta.

    They are by the cash register at Pep Boys and Kragen, etc. I have even gotten them from the service writer at the Ford dealer. They're free.

    HELP Identify plug wire/cylinder

    The wires are also marked "R" and"L". That will help locating the correct bank. Then call MSD customer service. I have dealt with them before and they are very good.

    Larger tires.................

    I am running 265/35-18 in the front and 285/35-18 in the rear on my '01 with no clearance issues at all. I have seen several with 295 in the rear. Do a search on this site. I seem to remember several threads about this issue.

    99/01 cobra intake spacer?

    I have a Snow Performance strut tower brace on my '01. No clearance issues. The brace is ahead of the manifold.
