    Lowering the car will hurt the ride, but not as bad as you'd likely expect. Like someone else said you'll want to invest into adjustable shocks and struts if you are concerned about the the ride. If you add low profile tires you'll lose more ride quality as well. Just some things to think...

    Just curious who tuned your car? I really think the tuner is more important than the device you use though. The predator isn't a bad piece, just seems like the SCT has a better grasp of drive by wire. I'm really getting curious about sniper though. Has anyone had Sniper on any other cars?

    I would go with the SCT. From people I've talked to Diablo was ahead of SCT for a while on 05s, but that has changed. Seems like SCT may be a better piece for the 05s right now. It more depends who tunes it rather than what they use though.

    What will it take to beat an LS1?

    Trans Am in stock form are not that tough to take down. Put a CAI, tune, 4.10 gears, full exhaust set up, some U/D pulleys, Lower Trailing Arms, and some tires and you'll be in the 12's. Then if you really want to do some playing through heads and cams at that combo and it will move.

    Don't know all the detail, you'll have to talk to Randy or Jerry at Sutton for that. I know its a JT trim blower, P&P heads, cams, built bottom end, JBA long tube headers and h-pipe, upgraded fuel system, SCT software to tune, etc. The car with tires and mufflers would be very streetable too...

    4.6 3v Cams

    Cams are like the mythical Unicorn on 05s. There are stories of them being out there, but nobody can actually get their hands on a pair and put up some numbers. The other issue is only one company has valves and none have springs yet.
