    Best way to deal with paint chips

    I have the same issues and will be trying some touch up paint. The bad thing for me was driving to work this morning and got a rock chip in the windshield. Now i either have to have it filled or a new windshield.

    Thanks for the replies. I figured heat would be the answer. I think the goo gone would be for getting the glue off after you get the decal off.

    4 6x8s under 100bux, plus questions

    Neither of those should be to bassy for doors. The 5 1/4 are small and most likley wouldnt have much bass. I have 7" in my doors and they arent to bassy. i would choose the 6x8 between those 2. If you go with anything other then the 6x8 you will have to build a mounting plate for the woofer.

    That amp isnt big enough for those subs. you would have to run the amp in stereo to make that work and there isnt enough power.     as far as insurance , I checked with my insurance agant and we compared my Gt with a cobra and a Z06 vette and it was the same. He said i am getting nailed with the hi-pro insurance and it didnt matter what car it was the same.

    Subs and budget

    I use eclipse 130w2 amp running mono at 400w and it works great and the amps run about a 100 on ebay. I have never had a problem with them. A cheap sub that i used and worked good was the infinity perfect 12. Great price on ebay. Im using an Image Dynamics IDQ12 now.

    Isnt that profiling? I had a cop pull me over just to look at my car and talk cars. Pissed me off but what can you do? He said he thought my tail light was out then didnt even check it. Next time you get pulled over tell the cop your going to sue for profiling, :rlaugh:
