    Is 15/25mpg average

Sounds like it's due for a tune up. My GT used to get 19/26. But then again I kept it under 2500 rpm.

    03 stang

Since the engine is basically a big air pump, I would think that improving air flow will help do both. i.e. high flow midpipe, catback, air filter, plenum..

    Goodbye Mustang

BTW I'm looking at a Volkswagen GLI. Seems like a cool little car.

    Goodbye Mustang

that's badass. :nice: My car may have had a chance to survive this crash if I had thought to do what you did, but at the time, my instincts told me to just forget about the car and brace yourself. If you look at the pics the front wheels aren't even turned..

    Goodbye Mustang

I think I was going about 40 upon impact. As much as I'd like to salvage these parts and sell them, I need to wait and see what the insurance adjuster says because I need the reimbursement.

    Opinions on 2004 GT appearance.

Dont forget to get the Cobra R tailights!

    Fuel filter won't come off

Are you using the fuel line disconnect tool? This tool is necessary to get this job done. Pull and twist on the filter simultaneously.

    Goodbye Mustang

-Magnapacks -the wheels and tires. But the right front tire somehow became flat after the wrecker service flipped it back over, and the right rear has some curb rash. -Eibach sportlines -KYB shocks/struts. I'm not sure if the right sides still serviceable though. They took a hard landing when...

    Goodbye Mustang

Yeah that's what the tow truck driver said. My girlfriend's parents happened to drive through the crash site and they said they also saw a deer. It was probably the same god damn one lol.

    Goodbye Mustang

haha, that'd be nice. But I've gotten pretty sentimental with this car and I think I wanna find another 2v and make a clone.

    Goodbye Mustang

I hope my insurance doesn't fuss at my springs and exhaust. I'm so glad I left the k-member alone.

    Goodbye Mustang

Very nice. I'm aware your car has been sale for a good bit and I'm glad it worked out for you.

Oh btw that's a Stangnet sticker on the quarter window. :SNSign: :D

    Goodbye Mustang

I fully agree. I walked out with just air bag burns and a sore left knee. (I had the clutch pedal floored upon impact. I guess it was an instinct to keep the engine from stalling) So this car is totalled right?

    Goodbye Mustang

I don't know. I guess God wanted me to live lol. Yeah they have the tread pattern of a Kumho 712 but these are actually Yokohama avs100s. :)

    Goodbye Mustang

Long story short, I was out driving and a deer walked into the street. My instincts told me to avoid the deer so I swerved and put it into a tree. RIP Mustang 4/5/04 - 7/24/08. It had all of 30k on it and it's such a shame. But I'll tell myself I'm glad to be alive.

Lowering springs for the 99. CC Plates a have to?

I also have Sportlines without the CC plates. No problems so far but then again it's only been about 6 months. We'll see what happens.

    Need suspenstion bad

I agree w/ srt on the lameness of the bullitt kit. The spring rates are quite stiffer and it comes with new swaybars but it just isn't enough of a drop IMO. You can pick up a brand new set of Eibachs and KYB shocks for slightly over 400.

    It's almost here, , , , , , ,

Lucky you. I wish I could go Vortech but I'm taking the cheap way out with nitrous. :D
