    Roush Opion time

I'd actually take the 2006 S281E convertible in Tungsten Grey. At 550hp, its a monster. But that emergency brake is going to get ripped the ***** out. :Word:

Roush whats better in your opion

The E car weighs in at 3428, a 252 pound difference. And for the IRS disadvantage, I was thinking in terms of straight line performance; a lot of people here are into 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. The E car is more expensive though, Cobra started at 48k, the E at 61k. It seems like you have a few...

Roush New 07 "E" car wing (pic)

Actually, I changed my mind, I do want one of those. I think it would be very handy at the car shows. I could take it off and have a nice little bench to sit on and eat my sandwich.

Roush whats better in your opion

I own an E so that's where my vote is, but I certainly wouldn't kick an 03-04 saleen cobra out of my garage. But you know, with just basic bolt ons you're going to see about the same performance out of both cars. The 4v head does have more potential I agree, but the E car is running Saleen...

    Roush '01 Break Squeal

I feel your pain bro. My car would make a horrible noise from the front end just after I had new rotors installed. You didn't say what your situation is but for me it would go away when I applied the brakes. I tried having the new rotors turned down a bit because they had a very slight high spot...

Roush Intercooler h2o temps and new Chicane Intercooler

Why would I spend 5000 for 100hp when I could just spend 550 on a methanol/water injection kit and a 3.25" pulley, and be there anyway. So I can say I have a KB? No thanks. Besides, from outside appearances I want to keep the car looking as stock as possible and a nice shiny KB under the hood...

Roush Intercooler h2o temps and new Chicane Intercooler

Well got it dyno'd today. Now I'm at 400rwhp, 405rwtq. Steve actually pulled a little bit of timing out of it because it was pinging when he first ran it. He said the a/f was right on, just too much timing. I mentioned I was thinking of going to a smaller pulley and boost a pump in the future...

    Roush Go away Wilma

At least with hurricanes you get some warning and can prepare as footnfan has. You can get your family to safety when you have some warning. With earthquakes you really can't. Sure, you can have your water and food supplies and crap ready, but noone is going to tell you when the next big one...

That looks like a very expensive snow plow.

Roush Intercooler h2o temps and new Chicane Intercooler

Yes, Joe hooked me up. It cost 699 for the intercooler and then 10 hours of labor. On the series I and II cars it would be about 5 hours of labor I guess but the series V on my car was a bitch. Not sure if that would be the same for the series IV.

Roush Intercooler h2o temps and new Chicane Intercooler

Agreed. With the air intake temps so high they couldn't put any timing into it without it pinging, hence the low numbers. Now she should be mucho better.

Roush Intercooler h2o temps and new Chicane Intercooler

Well I final got the issues with the high temps on my intercooler resolved. As a refresher, my Intercooler temp was about a constant 160 most of the time and about 180 to 190 on a hot day. When I had my car dyno tuned they were seeing IAT of 250 degrees. Neither one of those is good so...

Roush How much is too much?

Don't worry Marcus; I drive my car enough for the both of us. I probably cover a few other people fair share too. I've put 20,000 miles on my car in a year. I don't really prescribe to the idea that a rare or collectors car should be put away and not driven, especially a Saleen. These cars...

    Roush What is he thinking?

Why would anyone buy a used car with 2500 miles on it for what it cost new? Especially when there are new ones still available. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Mustang-Saleen-SALEEN-SONIC-BLUE-S281-SUPER-CHARGED-CONVERTIBLE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6236QQitemZ4575739558QQrdZ1...

    Roush SA20 on eBay

Yeah, hey Aaron. It was a lot of fun at the driving event. And I might have gotten the best time but you got the best spinout of the day. :) That sounds like a nice collection of cars you have, especially the GT500... :nice: But damn, you need to go put some miles on that sa-20, enjoy it...
