    2005 GT Motor Pics, 3-Valve

It all has to do with how much hood clearence you have, how much space you have in the V, how much room you have for the air snorkel, and the angle you need to hit the intake ports at.

    tire spin in reverse question

Your tires will hop in reverse because the weight is transfering off the rear of the car, and the suspension is unloading instead of compressing. Would there be any problems, If you do it all the time, maybe.

Anyone know if you can run the cobr/bullet brakes with....

You probably shouldn't gain any braking distance from bleeding your brakes. The only reason you would is if you had an air bubble in your lines, which is unlikely. The real reason you bleed your lines is to intorduce fresh fluid into the system. Brake fluid attracts water, which lowers it's...

Anyone know if you can run the cobr/bullet brakes with....

Yeah, you don't seem to care to learn & understand how brakes work or to even throw out realistic performance guesstimates. The fact of the matter is that you can lockup (or now a days trip the abs) with your stock brakes. Adding bigger brakes isn't going to do anything for you. To get to the...

Anyone know if you can run the cobr/bullet brakes with....

Wow, you are gullible. Granted you may get a different feel from the brakes, but I absolutely guarantee you don't stop 20 feet shorter. You say your brakes don't fade at all, but I don't think you've ever put your car in a situation to experience fade.

Anyone know if you can run the cobr/bullet brakes with....

They have the same rear rotors as the Cobra. The caliper is the same on the bullitt/gt/cobra, but since the bullitts and cobras have a thicker rotor in the rear, the pad is thinner. The bullitts and the cobra also have a different mount for the caliper, which allows it to accept the larger...

Anyone know if you can run the cobr/bullet brakes with....

Yes, here is a good reference http://sn95brakes.cjb.net/ So is the 99+ caliper The 99+ brakes don't even compare to the 96's How much heat do you think you'd generate drag racing, auto-x, or on the street? Not enough to worry about. I'd bet the 99+ caliper costs a lot more than that to...

Anyone know if you can run the cobr/bullet brakes with....

WHY???? 99+ GT brake (10.8") actually have a LARGER caliper than the Cobras. This includes more pad surface. They both have twin pistons and are about equally rigid. In short, there is NO advantage in using the Cobra caliper for you. If you want to upgrade your brakes from there pads...

anyone ever barked tyres on a downshift?

OK, you are doing something VERY VERY BAD. For multiple reasons. 1) you are putting a LOT of stress on the clutch. It will wear out SUPER quickly like this. More so than abusing your car during acceleration. 2) By causing the rear tires to lose traction while all the weight is transfer to...
