    25 pound weight removal

you need computer work with 4.10's and an auto because the computer does not know that you have steeper gears than stock. So the "table" it uses to shift at certain rpms, speeds, etc. is thrown off. i have heard that you will damage the tranny with 4.10's if you don't get a chip burned for them.

Do I really need all of this?!?!!?

From what I've heard the Maximum Motorsports C/C plates are a lot better than the Steeda ones, and they are about the same price. Plus they are a 4-bolt plate, not a 3-bolt plate like steeda. So if you want to switch to a front coil-over setup to save weight you will need 4-bolt plates. The...

    25 pound weight removal

It is a weight that is installed on covertibles to reduce cowl vibration or something like that. It is tucked in the front bumper near the passenger side foglight. Just about everyone with a 'vert has taken it off and had no problems.

    Driveline shakes/vibrates when i approach 90mph?????

Sounds like an aluminum D/S would fix the problem. Especially if it's speed-related and not rpm related.

Where should I buy all my brake parts? Rotors,Pads and RR caliper?

Killercanary just got PBR brakes from a 99+ gt a while back i believe. Junkyard might be a good place to start. Or there's always the cobra brake kits. I dunno much about them since I'm still using stock brakes, but i'm sure SOMEONE can jump in and make a recommendation.

I was wondering how long you could make a title of a thread so I made this thread

First some Cobra R wheels. Either 17x9, 17x10.5 or 18x9. Not sure yet, and it'll be a couple months before I can afford it. Then 3.73 gears and a rear end rebuild, ASP U/D Pullies, and a tune-up!!! After that maybe tmoss ported lower and some suspension stuff.

    Tailpipes... let's see them :)

Yes those are magnaflow 3.5" tips. Same as what I have. The look really cool from behind. From the side you can see where the tips attach to the rest of the exhaust. It doesn't look bad IMO, but I'm going to get a saleen rear bumper I think which will hide that and the tips fit really nice...

    Aftermarket rear bumpers

Hey everyone please post pictures of your aftermarket rear bumpers. I'm looking to get one soon because mine got hit and I always use something breaking as an excuse to upgrade. I was thinking about Cervini's stalker body kit, but i don't know if i like the rear bumper. I'm leaning towards...

    Exhaust

I haven't really heard MAC exhausts, but I have heard flowmasters. Yeah they sound good if you like that classic muscle car sound. I'd go to www.mustangexhaust.com and listen to the sound clips there to get a better idea. I personally like something a little different, which is why I went...

    4.10's auto - 3.73 stick?

Well I don't know for sure, but since the Auto is a 4-speed and the Manual is a 5-speed I would think that the Auto's gears have different ratios which down low reduces the torque multiplication - so yeah lower rpms for higher speeds. The MAIN reason is because the auto uses up more horsepower...

    Ignition Key Annoyance...

I think it's just a Ford thing. My Mustang doesn't do it yet, but our 1995 Ford Windstar has had that problem for a few years now. The ignition looks the same as the 'stangs. Also a friend of mine has an 89 Probe GT and whenever he floors it and the turbo spools up the keys hit him in the...

    Starting a detail business

If you wanna do detailing the rest of your life you gotta start some kind of retirement fund, IRA or something. But hell, you could do that until you can't walk lol. Also don't forget about taxes. If you get a large client base you're gonna have to report income tax, etc.

looking at a 94 gt vert.. but its been sitting

I don't do much prep work to my 'stang when i store it. Just put it on blocks, some dry gas in the tank, and 70/30 antifreeze/water mix. That's about it. And mine starts up no problem every spring. I would see if it will start breifly, maybe let it warm up at an idle, then shut it off and...

New Car what to do first?

NO FLOWMASTERS PLLEEAASSSEEE!!!! LOL. I don't think Flowmaster cat backs aren't stainless steel. Get straight thru mufflers like 1105 said. I got Magnaflows and omg what a sound!!! Deep, powerful tone. But do gears first. Then some Underdrive Pullies. Then get an off road h or x...
