    Engine and Tranny

    I think the best way to remove the motor is with the trans attached. It should come out nice with the load leveler. I always bring the motor straight up first and than remove the motor mounts so they don't go crooked and rip while in the frame mounts. Good luck with the motor.

    The Mustang II's do not have an on board computer or ECM. Do you possibly mean the ignition module? You can find wiring diagrams in the Haynes manuals for the MII.

    motor size/cooling question

    The stock II rad will cool this motor. A lot of overheating problems are due to a cruddy cooling system and block. More than likely this rad is new so it's clean. With all the work in the motor the block was more than likely cleaned in a hot tank at a machine shop. I saw this car on ebay...

    Blackout

    It's a thick decal unless someone removed the original and painted the moulding. Remove the piece and look on the back of it you will see the tape.

    Bumper Stripping

    The moulding should just peel off unless they were reglued using a strong adhesive. Over time the moulding shrinks and doesn't fit the bumper very well. You may be able to find new moulding strips from one of the MII parts vendors.

    Check your wiper fuse to see if it's shot too.

    Possibly a faulty ground cable or solenoid problem. Is your solenoid tight on the fender well?

    Need help/advice with front header panel bolt.

    When I replaced the front clip on my 75 I used JB Weld epoxy to secure three bolts that lost the threaded portion on the header panel. It works great. I just snugged the nuts up enough to secure the header to the fenders without over tightening.
