    cooling issues

    Did 86's have this air deflector? My 86 Vert does nto have one either and it gets hot on the freeway but i think its due to a clogged radiator which I will fix this weekend...

    Can I disassemble and assemble shortblock w/o shop

    Well go with a very lite oil, some 0 - 20 and use plenty of it. Better to be safe than sorry... just squirt it in each cylinder as you go.... remember when honeing you just want to get rid of any ridge and put a nice cross hatch so allow the rings to seat...

    Radiator help

    Here is the fan i run on my 93 LX. Its kind of noisy but it came with every thing needed to install it. And it fits neatly in the stock shroud IST Products Electric Fan Kit

    Radiator help

    its not the amount of rows that matters it is the size of the rows. Like this.. I have a 1 row radiator but its 1 row thats is 1" wide. this flows better than the 3 row brass one it replaced. The engine runs cooler.. If you can get 2 rows that are 1 inch wide for each row you should be fine.

    electronic fan question

    I run my fan at 100% when the intake sensor (190 degree) kick on. It also runs with the AC. I used it with my 2g but that alternator did not like the added load. My 3g has no problems with it.

    Oxygen sensors - Code 41

    When I wne to smog I used 70% rubbing alcohol which has allot of water in it. I passed smog but shortly after that i got the code 41. It would go out when I used the AC so I decided to replace them both, over 3 years old, and the code went away and MPG went way up.
