    What type of muffler?

I love Flowmasters, and never had a problem with drone. Honestly though- asking what mufflers people would recommend is one of those questions that is 98% based on personal taste, so I if I was you, go to Youtube and start listening to different cars to see what you like.

    head recommendations

I had trickflow and sold them to upgrade to the AFR 185s, I was very happy with the Trick Flows but I wanted to sqeeze as much power as I could from my new motor so I switched. Either one you will be happy with. You can get a good deal on used heads, I sold my TF's for $900.

    stoker kit advise

In regards to your first question about how much power you have now, if your 302 is bone stock the answer is: not much, low 200's maybe A well built 347 will put you over the 400HP mark easily, spend a bit more and 450HP is no problem. hell in a '71 I would be looking at putting in a...

Looking for someone who installed the PowerTrax No-Slip.

I have one, and I did not experience any problems that you are describing, although I have a manual trans. It's a bit noisy when making slow turns in parking lots and such, and its definately not always a seemless transition, but overall I am pretty happy with it.

    65 mustang 5 speed tremec?

A Tremec will fit with no mods, I along with one of our moderators has been running them for years with no issues. It is a very tight fit, as the case is significantly larger then a T-5. I have never measured but supposedly you can't get the 'correct' driveline angles unless you cut the tunnel...

    Rims and tire question

try and bounce your car up a down at each corner by pushing down the fendors. If the fendors go down more then an inch with you pushing on it, your springs are probably shot, if it doesn't nearly immediately stop bouncing after you stop, your shocks are shot too.

    Hi everyone!

Personally I have just always loved cars- if its cool looking or fast or just unique I like'em! Besides-I don't think there are a pair of any other cars that embody the classic American cars.

In a 66, does a set of 65 motor mounts drop the engine at all?

I drilled a 1/2" hole through mine, and use a Grade 8 bolt with a locking nut and tighten it till just snug. I broke 3 or 4 mounts before I learned that trick. So far so good but we will see how they hold up with my sticky tires that are going on.

Had a problem at the track last night, need advice

See if anyone can make heads or tales of this?

Your problem is not your fan or your radiator, I run an Aluminum 65/66 radiator with a manually switched fan so that if I am cruising over 50 mph I will turn off the fan. There is more then enough air coming through the radiator at cruising speeds to keep our cars cool.

Had a problem at the track last night, need advice

I did not find anything that looked terribly worn out under the dash. I tried to give the pedal a good a shake at different points to see if it felt loose, but it seemed solid under the dash. The other 2 bushings for the equalizer bar were put in new last summer, I would think they are...

See if anyone can make heads or tales of this?

Its possible the guage is messed up but I doubt it, I USED to have that problem to, and it turned out it was the guage. I think your problem is in your tune. It might be running a too lean when its in cruise mode, also whats your timing set at?

    Rims and tire question

suki- I had a problem with my 225/50 16s rubbing when I first put them on as well, it happened mainly when making hard turns, huge bumps or up driveways, things like that. When I redid my supspension and put on the new springs and shocks, they never rubbed again. Springs and shocks are...
