Doug W. hmm thats not the "cone car" is it LOL. You posting over here now Doug. You still have those rockers? Patrick will have to go get those soon.
Hows things at the shop? Just wondering.
Oh yeah j/k on the "cone car" thing that is one bad...
Sorry i thought i hit a "c". I absolutely hate the cfi. I had an issue with an 85 that was a pain. So it is the same as a 85 cfi? I always thought it was red lettering. I know 86 & up, but will help if i can. Also when checking f/p if you can do it under a load. Could it possibly just be...
LOL yeah i went back and read your post then noticed it was a "stock" 84. There was a "efi" in 84 but it wasnt like it is in the sefi systems. I assume since the pic in his sig is not white w/ red letters its not one. Im not too good with the older stuff either.
Didnt fully read it but my guess would be a dirty maf.
EDIT :Sorry just noticed its not EFI
I also recommend checking fuel pressure. Preferably while driving with another person or on a dyno. Any recent changes? Has it always done this?
Actually have you ever had it on a dyno? If you read the vacuum on it and it doesnt drop much then yes the intake is not flowing well. Which will hinder performance
SFC's, In Floors, Cage, reinforcing torque boxes, jacking rails with braces between them and sfc's, etc... It all depends on how far do you want to go. What is your setup now? Any chassis stiffening now? Convertable or hartop, etc...
I will be there, just spectating though. My brother is bringing his 86 gt, my boss his 95 cobra, my co worker 89 coupe, friend 89 lx, a friend of the shop is bringing his 98 cobra. So atleast 8 stangs that I know of including you and your buddies. :)
