    I picked mine up for like 45 bucks back in high school from ebay. Never been to the track but it has always seemed pretty close to what my car "should do". If nothing else its a cool gadget to have in the window. Looks like I have 2 radar detectors:nice:

    What speedo gear do I need?

    You cant correct it with the tuner, and I believe you want the white one with the 4.10 gears...not 100 % sure though. Also be aware, your speedo will still not be perfectly correct and you might as well buy a speed-cal from Dallas Mustang to get it to be more exact. ($100)

    how often do hydraulic floor jacks fail?

    Never under any circumstances climb under a car that isn't supported by jackstands. I am sure many of us here know someone who has lost their life because of this....seriously man, just go pick up a pair, they will last you a lifetime...a nice long lifetime:)
